The Favorite Code Elements feature allows you to create a list with the code elements (classes, methods, properties, etc.) that you use frequently so you can go to them quickly:

MZ-Tools offers the following ways to add a code element to the list of favorites:

  • The MZ-Tools | Add Current Code Element To Favorites menu.
     
  • The Add Current Code Element To Favorites menu entry on the context menu of a code window.
     
  • The Add Current Code Element To Favorites button on the MZ-Tools - Main toolbar.
     
  • The Add Current Code Element To Favorites button on the Favorite Code Elements window.
     
  • In Visual Studio, the keyboard shortcut associated with the MZTools8.AddCurrentCodeElementToFavorites command.
     
  • In VB6 / VB5 / VBA, the keyboard shortcut associated with the Add Current Code Element to Favorites feature.

MZ-Tools offers the following ways to show the list of favorite code elements:

  • The MZ-Tools | Favorite Code Elements menu.
     
  • The Favorite Code Elements button on the MZ-Tools - Main toolbar.
     
  • In Visual Studio, the keyboard shortcut associated with the MZTools8.FavoriteCodeElements command.
     
  • In VB6 / VB5 / VBA, the keyboard shortcut associated with the Favorite Code Elements feature.

Remarks:

  • You can navigate the items of this window using the Previous Item / Next Item buttons on its toolbar or even if the toolwindow is not visible using the Previous Item in Last Window and Next Item in Last Window buttons on the MZ-Tools - Main toolbar, which can be associated to keyboard shortcuts. For Visual Studio, you have also the MZTools8.PreviousItem and MZTools8.NextItem commands.
